Strange Marvel Legends Findings At Target!!!

So I went into Target the other day to see if I could find any ML 6, 7, or 8 series figures. As I turned the corner I saw the pegs for ML stuffed full! Unfortunately there were none of series 6, 7, or 8 on the pegs. [img]mad.gif[/img] So what did I find? Re-issues of series 1, 2, 3, 4,???? So I took one of the figures over to the new price scanners that Target has that tells you if they have more stock in the back (which they didn't) and to my surprise some of the figures were coming up as Spider Man classics figures and ringing up at $3.27!!! So I went ahead and picked up Captain America, Wolverine, Iron Man, and Punisher for $3.27 each. Pretty aweet deal for customs anyways! [img]tongue.gif[/img]

I think I wil have to go down and check out what the Targets are up to around here.

I have written them off for the last few months as they dont seem to add anything to the stock

I need to head into there anyway as they are getting the GI Joe Ninja set as an exclusive to them....

It seems that the local Targets & Walmarts are completing their re-sets for the toy depts, but just don't have anything to stock yet. Several of the other (targets/walmarts) I went to have space dedicated to ML & Spidey figs, but nothing on the shelves yet. Soon I hope???

My only problem is once they show up - I am still looking for the short packs and chase figures.

Atleast people on here have really helped me in completing the main lines and even a chase or two.

With all the driving I do - I think I am about to give in and just eBay stuff I can't get on Preorder as I spend 3X that in gas

You know... as much as I complain about not being able to find these guys... there's something about hunting them down and then finding them that REALLY makes my day, and makes me forget all my frustrations with the line...

I know what you are talking about on the hunt.

It is always nice to find them, bet there is a point with me where I have to go "screw it" and just order them [img]smile.gif[/img]


You know if you were to come across something like this Underoo Bandit - you'd have solved the other problem of your friend and ML 3!

Ain't it the truth...

Knowing his luck he'll find it today...

He has already found/bought Series 1 Cap and Hulk. All of Series 4 (for $18 shipped), Series 5 (including Blade). A case of Series 7 AND 8. This morning I find Cable, Wolverine, and Juggernaut for him (and myself, some of his luck must have rubbed off [img]wink.gif[/img] [img]biggrin.gif[/img] ).

And he just called me and said he went to the flea market and found a Vision for $19.99, he handed the guy a $50, the guy didn't have change so he got it for $12. [img]eek.gif[/img]

I might just have to start calling him Longshot.

Sheesh - lucky guy!!

I passed on a Red Haired Black Widow at the comic shop - but they guy wanted $35 for her.

I think I'll take my chances with someone else.

if she had been $19 - I"d have gotten here I think

Yeah, I can't see paying more than $20 for any figure... except maybe a Chase... and even then... I don't like doing it...

Well, I only consider it on the chase figures as well.

And with BW being packed one per every other case from what I can gather - she is as good as a chase then - just like Phoenix, Apoc, Hawkeye, Man-Thing, and any other figure ToyBiz gives the shortpack treatment to any more. [img]frown.gif[/img]
